I'm starting my new job next week so naturally I took myself on a little shopping trip to buy a few new things. I'm sure it is always the case that I consistently see a tremendous amount of clothes I would like to buy but whenever I have the money or occasion (or both!) to buy something, nothing is right. Suffice it to say, it wasn't very successful. Hopefully my existing wardrobe will be good enough for now - I shall keep you all posted on the big day. Until next time catch up with my on Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Texture
H&M jumper, Topshop skirt, Asos coat, Kurt Geiger boots, Louis Vuitton bag
I always get far too excited for the prospect of spring during March. We get a glimpse of the sun for a fleeting period and we've blinked and missed it. I find it's fun to wear contrasting textures whilst I'm waiting for the warmer months - I'm desperate to get back into sundresses and sandals but it's clearly just not going to happen right now (it's still snowing!) I put on an old knitted cropped jumper that always reminds me of paper-links and a velvet skirt for a little trip to Norwich Cathedral and, whilst I'm waiting for the sun to appear, this ensemble is making me rather happy.
P.S. I did treat myself to a new Barry M nail polish today (Peach Melba) and it's the perfect pastel peach shade I've been looking for!

Layers
Topshop jumper, shirt and bobble hat, American Apparel leggings, Carvela at Kurt Geiger boots
Up until recently, I was blissfully unaware just how difficult it is to find a place to live in London! Factor in a blizzard and it's basically mission impossible. I'm facing the elements in plenty of layers (I also have a cardigan on under my big winter jumper) with the hope of finding a place to call home. Snaps
Some pictures of my recent time in London - I'm back again next week for more flat hunting, which is proving more difficult than actually finding a job! From L-R: wearing Zara tee, Topshop jeans and boots, Asos coat, Louis Vuitton bag: Tower Bridge of an unusually warm, sunny day: starlit lanterns.

News
Crew Clothing shirt, Ark Jumper, Zara trousers and belt
I'm back in the capital this week and have some exciting news to share with you all very soon... I'll give you a hint though - yesterday may have been the day my job hunt finally finished! I always think it's important to dress smartly for interviews, no matter how 'uncorporate' the company is. I digged out these old suit trousers from Zara for the occasion and I think they worked a treat with a smart Oxford and cosy jumper for a slightly more casual approach. Until next time catch up with my on Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram.

Wales
Asos coat, Topshop skirt and bobble hat, Ralph Lauren shirt, H&M jumper, Hunter wellies
After a relaxing week in the Welsh countryside, I thought I'd share a few snaps from my little get-a-way. With regular family visits to this gusty part of Britain, I am no stranger to its tempestuous nature and find it no secret that layers and warmth are key to surviving this hearty part of the country; all stylishly done, of course. We took many hilly walks along the sea coast and witnessed beautiful views that spanned for miles. A welcome day trip to the capital Cardiff allowed me to indulged in some much needed cake and retail therapy - a new pair of shoes to be precise and to be showcased here soon!

Classic
Asos dress, Aldo shoes and clutch, H&M earrings, DKNY watch
Nothing beats a little black dress so, when a last minute opportunity to go to a ball arose, I was more than thrilled to have this classic piece in my wardrobe, completely unworn. I snapped it up in the Asos sale last summer for a mere £15 and it has been patiently awaiting its first outing ever since.

Bobble
Topshop jeans, boots and bobble hat, Jack Wills shirt, Ark jumper, Asos coat, DKNY watch
Got a bit snap happy yesterday whilst out shopping and starting papping myself and my lovely new pom pom coat in the changing rooms. My bobble hat has been sitting firmly on my head all week in order to brave the snowy weather, AGAIN.
My main mission was to find a pair of trousers that were smart with a vibrant twist but, as is usual when I trouser shop, my mission failed. I don't think my body shape is tailored to tailoring but I walked away happy with a Chanel-esq quilted leather skirt. Have a great weekend everyone and be sure to stay updated with me on Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Jack Wills Shirt, H&M jumper, Topshop skirt and belt, Jewellery: Whistles, Links of London, Pandora, Nails Inc in Wellington Square
There's something about the start of February that signifies a fresh new beginning. January is always a sluggish month and with the promise of spring firmly on its way, now is the time to bring out softer colours and bolder prints. I've always loved the classic feel when mixing checks and stripes, but this time I've incorporated a small dose of green tweed for a super preppy look. Have a great weekend and catch up with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Weekend Uniform
Topshop tee, jeans, boots, fur and mittens, Zara jacket, Asos belt, Louis Vuitton bag
Just a few snaps from my recent weekend in London. Jeans and a tee with some form of snazzy boots seems to be my go-to uniform right now. It's easy and breezy and great for doing lots of touristy things in London like visiting M&M world - the most bonkers "attraction" I have ever come across. Until next time stay updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Recent
I think I have a slightly unhealthy addiction to Pinterest. I can't remember the last day that went by that I haven't found myself endlessly scrolling down constantly looking for sources of inspiration. I do have a (long) list of blogs that I love to look at, but I find that Pinterest offers such as varied source of imagery that I just can't stay away. Here are some of my most recent pins! Until next time stay updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Snake
Topshop vest and pumps, American Apparel jeans
I have been in some-what of a hibernation the past couple of weeks. January is always a slow month and I have been dreading putting on my oh-so tight American Apparel denim disco pant jeans after the Christmas splurge. I was happily surprised to find they still do-up and were the perfect choice for casual Friday night drinks. Hope everyone has a great weekend, stay updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Christmas Gifts
Christmas is my favourite time of year so it's safe to say I have taken a couple of weeks off to fully enjoy the magical festivities. Now we're heading into the New Year and I am happy to say I will be back for regular blogging, starting off with a few things I got this Christmas. I am in love with my beautiful Links of London charm bracelet, equipped with its very own 'H' charm. It's currently sitting preciously on my wrist and is a timeless classic to add to my jewellery collection.
I have also done incredibly well for books this year; I read a lot but tend to buy most of my books for no more than £2.99 at the Oxfam book store. It's nice to have some special (new) beautiful books that not only make for wonderful reading but also fabulous decoration, too. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and were just as lucky as I was. Until next time stayed updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
