Blue

H&M jumper, Mango skirt, Carvela at Kurt Geiger boots, Urban Outfitters sock, Accessorize necklace

The rain seems to be endless at the moment and that certainly puts limitations on places to take photographs; I'm afraid as a result I have been confined to my room again. Today I'm going to be travelling and, for me, that has never meant that style has to come second to comfort (although possibly joint!) I find it quite easy to be stylish yet comfortable and this striped jumper has certainly helped in achieving  a combination of both. I only wonder if my legs might be a little chilly? Until next time catch up with me on Twitter and Pinterest.

Black Lace

H&M shirt, Mango skirt, Zara shoes, DKNY watch

Navy and black is often a combination that would turn many into a fashion frenzy; personally I've never seen a reason to dislike it, in fact, I'd go as far as to say it's a rather good blend of colours. I love the subtle softness of the navy against the black, somehow making it bolder and sharper.

This lace shirt is one of my most treasured purchases. It's only from H&M but it's such a timeless classic and epitomises how soft and pretty lace can be. It's so fine so it's perfect for keeping cool on these hot summer days. Hope everyone had a great weekend, don't forget to catch up with me on Twitter and Pinterest.

Schoolgirl Chic

Asos shirt, Mango Skirt, Zara shoes, Jack Wills head bow

I don't know why, but I definitely have a natural tendency to dress cute. I've worked other looks, tried the whole cool girl thing but, for some reason, nothing else seems to suit me that well and, as they say, if it works, work it. This skirt is a new buy and fits into my existing wardrobe perfectly. I like to wear color but I've always been more drawn to items with interesting textures or shapes and I love the voluminous aspect of this outfit with the billowing shirt combined with the pleated skirt. As I got dressed this morning I thought my outfit looked a bit like that of a schoolgirl, so decided to play on that idea by adding an oversized headbow and my princess shoes, showcased here. Turns out my look was perfect for today's activities as I popped into uni to find out my degree classification (1st class, just in case you were wondering!) Until next time catch up with me on Twitter and Pinterest.
