Christmas Gifts

Christmas is my favourite time of year so it's safe to say I have taken a couple of weeks off to fully enjoy the magical festivities. Now we're heading into the New Year and I am happy to say I will be back for regular blogging, starting off with a few things I got this Christmas. I am in love with my beautiful Links of London charm bracelet, equipped with its very own 'H' charm. It's currently sitting preciously on my wrist and is a timeless classic to add to my jewellery collection.
I have also done incredibly well for books this year; I read a lot but tend to buy most of my books for no  more than £2.99 at the Oxfam book store. It's nice to have some special (new) beautiful books that not only make for wonderful reading but also fabulous decoration, too. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and were just as lucky as I was. Until next time stayed updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram

Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas is absolutely my favourite time of year and, every year, there are always so many things I'm wishing for (many of these items are very unrealistic!) With that in mind, here is my annual Christmas gift guide catering to a variety of tastes and price ranges. This year, I'm hoping to find all of these treasures in my stocking although, really, that's never going to happen. Here's hoping...

Cupcakes and Cashmere: as I am sure you have seen from my blog list, I am a follower and huge fan of Emily Schuman's blog, Cupcakes and Cashmere. Her first book was released this summer and is her ultimate guide to fashion, beauty and entertaining.

Diptyque Scented Candle: girls love candles and you can never go wrong with this stocking filler. Personally, I love softer scents like rose or vanilla but Diptyque also do an amazing festive range and the glass can be reused for a whole range of things once the candle has burned out - my personally favourite is a flower vase.

Smythson Personalised Stationary: for those who love to keep it old fashioned like me and writing letters to your loved ones is your favourite past-time, then some personalised stationary is ideal. Smythson lets you personalise yours just how you want it with text, colours, paper type and motifs all for your choosing. It's not cheap (prices start from £195), but it is so worth it.

Marc by Marc Jacobs earrings: I have been wanting these little beauties for years now but it is so hard to find them in the UK. I have finally found a site which will ship to UK so hopefully they will be mine very soon.

Topshop boots: I tried these on yesterday and instantly fell in love. The leather is sumtuously soft with a pale pink lining and the shape is so classic you'll be wearing them for years to come.

Leon Baking and Puddings: I adore Leon and whenever I am in London I always stop by. This is the newest addition to their collection of cookbooks and I am so excited at the prospect of having their delicious chocolate brownies in the comfort of my own home!

John Lewis Diary: a diary is my ultimate organisation tool and I would literally be lost with one. John Lewis do stylish versions every year and at £7.50 a pop, they're incredibly affordable.

Massimo Dutti Leopard Print Loafers: I came across these in Grazia last week and have not been able to stop thinking about them since; please Santa, please...

Mawi Necklace: It's not cheap (£595) but this is a timeless piece of jewellery that will just keep on giving.

Miss Guided Sequin Sleeve Parka: Since I saw Millie from Made in Chelsea rocking this festive number I have had my shopping eye on it religiously. This would be an amazing item to bring out every December and I am really, really hoping I get this.

Mulberry Small Bayswater Satchel: This is another investment buy that will continue to last for years to come. It is THE handbag for any stylish British girl and, although I know I won't be receiving it this year, I may have to stretch my pennies far enough to make it mine at some point soon.

So there you have it - let me know what's on your Christmas list and be sure to stay updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

Topshop collar top, skirt, belt and studded slippers, H&M striped jumper, Asos bunny bag, Butler and Wilson headband

Happy 1st December!! Christmas time is officially here and to celebrate I am wearing a suitably festive outfit. I always think the festive season is for pieces that are a little more ornate so I've brought out my crystal and pearl flower headband courtesy of Butler and Wilson. It's my favourite hair accessory and is so lavish it rarely comes out of it's box however, marking the first day of my favourite month is certainly the perfect occasion. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, stay updated with me on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
