Rachel McAdams at Cannes.

The Cannes Film Festival is perhaps one of the most glamourous, most sophisticated events in the Fashion Calender and this year is no exception. For the 64th year running, a vast array of celebrities showed up to promote their films and generally look utterly fabulous! This year, one actress has specifically caught my eye. Rachel McAdams has stepped out in some truly wonderful, show stopping attire and has proved herself to be a complete fashion darling. Always dressed for the occasion and wearing outfits that are perfectly flattering each dress is more marvelous than the next.

Wearing Maxime Simoens this Little White Dress could have been disastrously boring. But, with its cinched in waist and ornate flower detailing around the shoulders and hips the dress has a structured appeal whilst still maintaining an element of girlish femininity.

In Monique Lhullier, this is my favourite outfit that graced the red carpet at this years Cannes. I love that Rachel is working one of this seasons biggest trends, nude. She pulls it off with pure grace, something that could be difficult to do when your skin tone is practically the same colour as your outfit. The sparkling corset is the perfect match to Rachel's soft, tailored trousers and shows off her very enviable figure. It's always refreshing to see tailored alternatives to ball gowns on the red carpet.
Finally, Rachel wears a revealing red lace Marchesa dress. What I like most about this dress is the train. So often, women wear dresses with enormous pouffy trains made from layer upon layer of fabric. I think so often it can look aged and dated. However, this train is exquisitely delicate and dainty and is the perfect match for Rachel's soft skin tone and old Hollywood waves.
